Vladimir Antonov - Arrest warrant issued over Snoras Bank collapse
Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov has been busy buying up a raft of car companies (and Portsmouth FC) in recent years. But there are now big questions about how he financed that. Vladimir Antonov is the main shareholder in Lithuanian Snoras bank (he owns 68 per cent) and in Latvijas Krajbanka via a 60 per cent stake owned by Snoras.
BMW will offer four-cylinder diesel engines in North America as it seeks to improve fuel efficiency and match the performance of its current six-cylinder gasoline engines. BMW is considering diesels in a range of models, including its 1 series, 3 series and 5 series sedans and possibly the X3 crossover and Z4 roadster, said Tom Baloga, vice president of engineering for BMW of North America. "You're going to see it in the 3 series, and the 5 series is a good possibility," Baloga said.

The 2013 BMW M6 has been revealed ahead of a Geneva 2012 debut. The M6 Convertible will debut in April in New York. The 2013 BMW M6 Coupe and the new BMW M6 Convertible have been revealed this morning ahead of motor show debuts, with the M6 Coupe landing at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and the M6 Convertible keeping some of its powder dry until the New York Auto Show in April.
